Beginnings

I have always been a very visual person. I love to create art and my love for photography began at a very young age. I remember going outside to take photos of rocks in puddles and close up shots of caterpillars on leaves when I was five years old.

I was still interested in photography throughout high school, where I took my first photography course. I learned some basics and how to develop my own photos in a dark room. Once I hit University the creative world opened up to me in many different ways. I discovered that I was interested in graphic design and also decided that I wanted to pursue photography even further. I was fortunate enough to have professors that were as eager as I was towards the things that interested me most in life. I feel very fortunate when I wake up in the morning because I can spend my day doing something I love.

Thank goodness, because I’m no good at math.
